Mike's been behind the stick since 1996...honing his craft from a diverse collection of bars: college dives, nightclubs, Vegas pools & respected corporate restaurants. In 2011 he joined the talented staff of Vesper Bar in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and went on to help open highly acclaimed Rose. Rabbit. Lie., a high volume, craft cocktail driven “social experiment”. Immediately prior to joining Breakthru Beverage Group, Mike ran operations for Road Soda, producing high-profile events for liquor brands at music festivals all over the country. He specializes in cocktail & menu development and uses a calculated approach to executing large-scale event logistics & production.
In April of 2018, Mike joined the Bacardi Trade Advocacy Team as a National Account Portfolio Ambassador. His role is focused on supporting the National Account On-Premise team with cocktail/menu development and brand/category education for national and regional accounts. This team works with these companies to help integrate cocktail strategies that will ultimately provide their guests with memorable and enjoyable experiences.
Mike's passion for spirits (and the stories they tell) compelled him to become a Certified Specialist of Spirits as well as earn the Spirits Professional designation from the United States Bartender’s Guild. In 2014, Mike attended the prestigious BAR 5-Day program in NYC and has been certified “BAR Ready” and is also a Certified Cicerone®.
